Ryan Young
Founder and President
In 2007, Ryan graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor's degree in Business and a desire to follow in his father's footsteps. Upon graduation, Ryan joined his father, James Young, in the family business learning how to be a successful headhunter for executive-level retained search in the Life Sciences.
Ryan joined Apex Systems in 2010 to further develop his recruiting prowess and sharpen his sales skills in the fast-paced, high-volume IT staffing industry. Following his time at Apex, Ryan joined Corbett Search running a full desk, engaging early-stage companies in need of top-notch revenue generating talent.
In 2014, Ryan built upon his IT experience with firstPRO proving himself as a successful recruiter and producer to gain an opportunity with Theoris (2017) as Sales Leader and Branch Manager of their Philadelphia office.
Ryan and his father had intentions to work together again, so he could carry on the family business, but due to James' passing after a short battle with brain cancer, that dream took a different path.
In 2019, Ryan created James Grey International leveraging over a decade of experience while honoring his father and carrying on his legacy.
James Young
Partner
After being discharged from the Navy, Jim enrolled in the University of Maryland and graduated in 1974 with a B.S. in Business Management. He accepted a position with Basic4 and moved to Berwyn, PA where he started a family, raising four children: Lauren Benner, Ryan Young, Melissa Radomicki and Kylie Kusturiss.
Jim started his own company in 1991, eventually owning and operating Young International Group (Executive Search in the Life Sciences) with offices in Philadelphia, PA and London, England. In 2007, he founded Life Science Resource Partners, which he passionately operated until his final days.
Jim had unwavering confidence in everything he pursued and experienced enviable success in all aspects of life, from business to family and friends.
His passion and determination carry on in James Grey International. He is the ever-present partner from above.

Kylie Kusturiss
Executive Search Consultant
Kylie joined James Grey in 2022 as an Executive Search Consultant eager for a new challenge and the ability to utilize her well-refined communication and problem-solving skills.
With a master's degree in counseling, Kylie spent the first 10 years of her career as a licensed school counselor providing individual and group therapy to youth and adolescence. She gained invaluable experience working with a multitude of individuals in fast-paced and often challenging environments.
When the opportunity presented itself to take the next step in her career, she was confident these experiences would ensure her great success in any and all future pursuits.
Kylie adds highly coveted attributes to the James Grey team as a motivated and enthusiastic professional. She aspires to strengthen the roots of James Grey and build upon its foundation as not only a search firm, but a dedicated and top-tier family business.
